![]() ![]() yeah complet same setup So after i have checked nearly everything with my system maybe there is sometihng ingame that make the issues (maybe bookmarks or something) Same overview but not same corp ( 3 of my chars work without anyproblem and only 1 (that one in a play corp) have the issues) 4. i have even deleted my Profile settings still fps Drop 2. Yeah i can even open the maps at the same time (different monitors) and still have only the issue that one client create lag. I have the same Issue BUT only on 1 Char when i open the map on another ACC on the same installation i have no issues are the map on the one working and the one not working the same same system? same overview/bookmarks? same display mode (map fullscreen or windowed? someone reported an issue about corp bm making things lags, I noticed fps drop when map was windowed and not in full screen I have 3 toons on separate accounts I use for scanning none have the lags mentionned, I had my cache cleared a few days ago, maybe there is something there, I don't know, try it and let us know maybe ccp know exactly what the issue is and is waiting tomorrow patch day to fix stuff? cross fingers 1. ****** Thank you Maya Cinderfort for finding a work around. The map stutters so badly its not really usable which makes certain aspects of the game unplayable. Are other people having this problem? I don't see anyone else posting about it. I tried re-sizing the window and changing from windowed mode to full screen but nothing seemed to change the performance of the map window post patch. Closing the map restores FPS to full 60 within a second or two. When I open the map the FPS drops immediately to around 6 and the whole UI starts to stutter. I primarily play on 2 different computers both are fairly new systems with plenty of graphics horse power. Either way, this renderer is pretty great, which is why I think (if it aint too much) it would be great to have both displacement and parallax options for the user.Since the parallax patch went out I can no longer use the "map beta". I personally don't think that should be a reason to *not* include it, but that's just what I think. ![]() I remember several months back when I saw a message by Ondra 6 years ago saying that "This is too big fake suitable for games, but not for realistic renderer", and while it's true that it's usually good for games, that doesn't necessarily devalue it's efficiency in both games and high-end CG renders imo. If this isn't too much to ask, I would also to see this supported with Corona as a compromise for those who like the pros of displacement but don't want to deal with any inconvenient issues it may bring and/or just want to save more time. ![]() ![]() I have used the parallax feature Marmoset Toolbag 3 has and it's honestly pretty great imo for saving a lot of time compared to displacement, whilst still getting the same result when also using a normal map with it. ![]()
